Cartoolaxy

When I was a kid, I always went straight to the comics after picking up the paper. Wait, no, I still do that. Cartoolaxy aggregates comics, so you can put down the paper and wash the ink from your hands.

GOODCalc

The median credit card balance for Americans was $2,200 in 2004. That's a lot less than the $8000 average mentioned in many articles on the subject, but $2,2000 is still a big chunk of change, especially when it accumulates interest at a high rate. Are we ignorant to the negative effects of compounding interest when it works against us, or do we just not care anymore? GOODCalc, Digital Achievement's Get Out Of Debt Calculator, is a tool that sheds light on a debt portfolio and lays out a plan for efficient repayment. The service is free, and we are exploring the possibility of partnering with financial planners.

Toastmapper

There are Toastmasters clubs in every corner of the world, and each club helps its members to grow communication skills, leadership skills, and friendships. ToastMapper puts all of those clubs on a map to make it easy for people to find a club near them.

This service is free, and all club data is gathered from the official Toastmasters International website.

edOdyssey Teacher Tools

The best problems to solve are often found in your own back yard. One of Digital Achievement's owners is married to a teacher. The company actually started around the idea of turning her classroom administration problems into a business. We've meandered a bit along the way, but we still work on our edOdyssey Teacher Tools.

Connect Java applications to instant messaging networks without hassle.

Just about every web application on the planet needs to send notifications out to users at some point. New accounts, lost passwords, order confirmation, shipping updates, and more. These notifications are most often sent via email, but are all of those things worthy of cluttering the inboxes of your users? Perhaps some of these notifications are short lived. Something like a password reminder may do more harm than good if it lives for too long in someone's email inbox.

Give the spam filters of the world a rest, and send short lived notifications via popular instant messaging networks.
